Merry Christmas!

Huzzah! Merry Christmas to the Acid Wizards from Britain, for making such a visually inspired and inspiring game, that is spooky without the kind of 'gonna startle you' moments typical of recent horror games, and a Merry Christmas to everyone who barely posts in the forum. XD I hope everyone will ha...

Difficulty query; Boosting Monster numbers?

To wit, having a wonderful time whenever I dip back into Darkwood, and admittedly the fear of conflict is wearing off somewhat, so I was wondering, would it be possible to boost the number of enemies, either in random world spawning, or during night events? Not necessarily wanting hordes of enemies ...

Re: [SOLVED] Hideout 3 nowhere to be found

Yes and no - I managed to both break-even and make a surplus of supplies through careful use... and using bear-traps outside every single window. Does help in deterring some beasties, or at least slowing them down enough to throw a Molotov-cocktail at their stupid faces. And perhaps also hit them, r...

Re: [SOLVED] Hideout 3 nowhere to be found

-Sits up and flails!- Huzzah! It's... genuinely admirable how you managed to almost literally scout the entirety of the Old Woods, and yet miss the Hideout. XD By the way, I believe you can purchase a 'Old Woods' map from Priotek, gives you the location of Hideout 3 and The Church, I think. Sometime...

Re: Hideout 3 nowhere to be found

Hello there! Whilst I know you say you've explored the empty spaces, given that roads generated tend to always link to one Hideout or another and then to another landmark, logically the third Hideout -should- be in the bottom-left or middle-left of the Old Woods, south of Musician's place and north/...

Re: Co-op Suggestion

That reminds me of other horror games, starting as 'vulnerability fantasies' like Resident Evil 7 (from the first campaign, shifting to 'Not a Hero') or The Evil Within *main campaign, shifting to 'The Executioner') then something of a 'power fantasy' with dlc or new characters - shifting the game f...

'Prologue - Doctor action-bug'

Hello! Updated to and played the new version, during the prologue, actions such as right-clicking/preparing an attack, mounting/mantling obstacles and other actions the Protagonist can do display a "I don't know how to do that" message at the bottom of the screen. The message can often be thrown up ...

Re: The arcitecture of Darkwood...

Hnn, that'd make sense, thank 'ee for your imput. It seems perhaps in eastern-Poland or by the Russian border, given the language and imagery. Originally felt it was lots of wooden cabins, rather than a village or small town of today, if that makes sense? Was hoping to also gain insight from Devs, i...

The arcitecture of Darkwood...

Hello world! To wit, working on a custom level for another game, Killing Floor 2, and trying to make a overgrown village with some quite hefty inspiration from Darkwood, so I was wondering; could either the Developers or forum-goers with a better eye for this kindly show what they'd know of the arch...
