First time I hear about 8x shotgun, wiki doesn't know about it either. Grats!

I found a single-shotgun in a random chest in the old woods.

Usually happens to me when I die, upon resurrection the first 2 slots may be selected.

+1 for Cannot "shift-click" pistol into inventory, had a handgun in my hotbar and had to loot the other by picking it up with the cursor

Mint should be fine for a beginner and it's compatible to ubuntu which is the primary steam distribution so I guess it'll be good for a steam gaming pc

There are some items which can not be dragged, only pushed, for example the bathtub. Those items are reset to their original position when loading a game.
