Co-op

If we manage to reach the stretch goal during our Indiegogo campaign, we will be able to add co-op to the game! Now, this will be a pretty different experience than the singleplayer one, and will probably get stripped from the main story. Right now we see it similiar to Terraria, meaning that the ga...

Re: Darkwood FAQ

A lot of Darkwood's gameplay is about discovery and exploration, and we don't want to spoil it by doing beta-tests. On the other hand, we like this model which lets the community have more influence over the game. Maybe in the future we will find a way to keep out some of the elements of the game an...

The Indiegogo campaign draws near!

We're almost ready with our crowdfunding campaign! For the last 2 months, we've been working almost non-stop to launch this thing as soon as possible. The problem is - we earn money by doing contract work, for advertising mostly, and that eats up a lot of our time, which could be spent developing Da...

Re: First Pre-Alpha gameplay trailer

Hello and welcome to the Forums!

Thanks, Darkwood is basically a attemt at filling a void we feel exists in the genre - a true balance between horror and survival, without following a linear path. As for the challenges.. I guess coop will be the hardest part if we get enough funds to implement it ;)

Monaco

We've been hyped up about Monaco for quite some time now. But now when it's out, we have so much work that we're afraid we will wake up a week later if we start a session.. If you don't know what Monaco is, you better check it out: http://www.pocketwatchgames.com/Monaco/ So, anybody tried it and has...

First Pre-Alpha gameplay trailer

Not really new, but if you haven't seen it, here's a few minutes of uncut gameplay footage from a early version of Darkwood, displaying some creepy atmosphere, barricading and power management mechanics: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uQOPb9p3HTQ . Or, if you've already seen it, feel free to tell us...

Welcome to the forums!

Hey there!

Feel free to talk about anything related to the Acid Wizard Studio (or not, as long as it's in the appropriate section)!

So be nice to each other and don't troll too much, lest you wish to feel the wrath of the wizards!
