Fill Quickslots first

I think it would reduce inventory management overhead, if items were put into empty quickaccess slots when you pick them up from the ground or from other stashes. Makes sense within the gameworld as well, because the character would hold them in his hands or pockets before he would be able to put them in his backpack.

It would make it easier to relocate traps or place multiple traps from a container iteratively. Or if your last piece of meat was ignored by the dogs you were trying bait and kill, it would automatically be sorted into the right slot afterwards when you pick it up.

It's just a minor issue for me, but I don't see any disadvantages to do it like this.

This was a feature once, but sometimes it made you equip an item if it got placed in the currently selected hotbar slot, which was sometimes frustrating.
