Hotline Miami

Did Darkwood take you back to a great game you played some time ago, or maybe there's a totally unrelated new title coming out that you want to talk about? In any case, feel free to share it here!

I want more games like this one... It's really good. Does anybody know more games like Hotline Miami? The 80' vibe, top-down view, the GTA like action is just awesome.

One of the best games I played.
Did you read this article about the game: http://www.gamasutra.com/blogs/RamiIsma ... t_game.php

It opens a whole new experience to this game. And it is actually in the Humble Indie Bundle 8.

No problem, I really loved that game. People always say it has a small connection to the film "Drive" if you haven't watched that film till now. But unfortunately I havent found any other game with that kind of style concerning music and gameplay.

I've watched that movie, didn't think it was that special though. I liked the game more :P Too bad that there is no other game like it...

I do have good memories of this game, I mainly remember me and my friends laughing as we took turns at getting owned by these couple of guards. I think the story is really abstract and so I didn't really get it, but the gameplay was great. The one-hit kill thing wasn't enraging either, so that was good.

Hotline Miami is awesome! :)
The only thing which I dislike is the graphic style. The colors are too bright, which is of course fitting along with the 80s style, but personally it's not my taste (also after a few minutes on a 27" screen my eyes are burning  ).

Anyway.. the freakin' awesome music compensate my eyestrain.
