Re: Ideas for interesting monsters

Yes, balance is key. I think the idea the community has (which may or may not also be the same vision that AWS shares) is to have a multitude of random events and situations, with them all being cycled through to prevent predictability. The Stranger At The Door scenario would only happen rarely, ma...

That happened to me once before and I think the problem was solved by a few molotov.

Re: New monster

I think that this should go into the hallucinations thread that has been ongoing. Plus, it would be nice if you could have posted this in the monsters thread.

Re: Ideas for interesting monsters

Maybe some mirrors like this can act as a portal for shadows? I think without making a drastic new mechanic, this is the only real use you could get out of mirrors. Which is interesting in it's own right since it is another way from certain monster to get into your base without having to fight ther...

Re: Reloading Table

That's a tough call. The stove is the only way to level up and the only way to save between days. I mean for someone who knows how to play the game, they could find all that in their first day. But for new players, I can see it being a challenge for em. And making it challenging to save wouldn't ex...

Re: Reloading Table

I would prefer this to the current setup of just finding ammo everywhere. -- 1 Junk + 1 Gunpowder = Bullet -- 4 Junk + Wire + Rag + Alcohol = Cleaned and Working Reloading bench -- Wolf Carries Recipes for the different kinds of bullets. -- As for where to get the gunpowder from. I don't really have...

Re: Discovered location is vague

I think it would be best to have soundtracks based on location. Kinda of like how the wolf's camp is. You get music when you get closer and it gets louder and louder until you are there. I think some areas are like that, but what about the smaller areas like broken trees and shrines? The only one t...

Re: Compass

I posted something similar, didn't get any attention. I said be able to plot yourself on the map as some sort of skill, and it would be similar to crafting. This way you couldn't use it while fighting. However, like I said, it got no attention so apparently most people prefer not knowing. cant blam...
