Craftable Curtains

I'm only in the 2nd hideout and am not too terribly far in the game, so maybe this is already in. But what I think what would be a nice and realistic addition to the game would be the ability to craft curtains (either out of rags and rope or fabric and rope) which could then be nailed over windows or cracked walls to prevent the creeps in the dark from looking in. What do you all think?

It's clever and reminds me of Project Zomboid
Maybe there could even be an NPC who sells various cloth products and you can buy the curtains directly from him if your workbench isn't capable of making them yourself
